Jan 23 - Left Frevent at 7:30 A.M. for Boulogne arrived there at 7:30 P.M. passing through Doullens & Abbeville which is on the noted Somme river arrived too late for boat. Stayed the night at Hotel De Louvre. Very cold riding windows broken in no doors & very few remaining of coaches caused by former collisions etc

Jan 24 Sailed at 11 A.M. & arrived at Folkstone at 12:15& London at 3 P.M. Left London at 9 P.M.

Jan 25th Arrived home at 8 A.M. & found all in bed except Percy.

Jan 26 Home all day

Jan 27 Home all day

Jan 28th Motored over to Fentongollan & then on to Roche to Willies place & then back to St Erme to attend to Parish meeting. Saw Mrs Gunning. Rev Gunning not at home.
