a fountain oh but it was grand as the straffe grew in intensety Fritzes lights began to get less and less. day light started to break and you could dimly see the dirty fly in and the shells bursting on his trenches. then it got lighter and you could see it all plain the officer turns to us and say boys you will never see another sight like that in a life time and I am blame sure I never will. for I dont think it could be more intense if they tried the amount of guns packed in there is something awful. now you can go all over where our guns used to be in broad day light the boys have been out all day to do packing ammunatien up on horse back. they have sure been working hard lately. one bunch were twenty hours away from the Horse lines working in a snow storm all the time. believe me. they deserve all the
