Darling Mum: -

I have got heaps of letters from you that I haven't had time to answer but I will write as often as I can, I like to get your letters though to know how you all are. I have had two letters from Dad lately, I don't know if I will be able to transfer or not. Fred Eels is here with me in the same platoon. Leo is away in a course just now. When you write just put "A" Coy on the address. The weather is pretty sloppy now out here. What do you think about the War now, a lot of them seem to think it will be over by Xmas. I will be glad when
