bothering about. When one knows that the politicians in Canada must realize the absolute need of reinforcements + of course a constant supply, it is difficult to understand over here what in heaven's name, they are wrangling about. Of course no one would like to see trouble with Quebec + it may be that Sir Wilfred were [?] in power, can't handle Quebec, but personally I feel inclined to agree with E. P. Davis, that we should be through with French Canadians as leaders.
I hope Duff gets off right on the question of conscription + I believe he will as I think he wrote
