days with Pearl & family at Bath, where they are going to be very comfortable.
They have a good house (much better than at Folkestone) & charmingly situated overlooking this city. It is a most interesting old place & the surrounding country is very beautiful.
Pearl & the youngsters are very fit & happy. Norm & I paraded the streets of this city regularly each day, in our kilts, & of course attracted much attention and admiration.
We all patronized the Grand Pump Room & drank the water, along with a lot of other "old crocks" & would their [illegible] in the
