Dated 19th January 1917

This is to certify, that Mr. C.H. Meares has served as Lieut Comdr. RNVR on board H.M. No. H Wing RNAS under my command from the 31st day of March 1915 to the 16th day of January 1917, during which period he has conducted himself+

with zeal and to my entire satisfaction. Has acted as Intelligence and Transport Officer in both of which he has shown his competence.

An excellent Interpreter.
