I suppose you will be getting Lots of Red letters. now I Told my Sister to send them out to you when I was in Scotland. Well Fred you will all be surprised in Barkerville to hear about Harry Brierley poor fellow. he got married 2 days ago. just as well been Killed at the Front. We were moved to Witley Surrey for over a week but got back again to the old stamping ground. Fred what do you think about them breaking our pay down 50% P.cent. we the 54th would not go out on parade for 3 days. but none of the other Battns. would stay with us. so we had to give in. they say we will get it when we get back to Canada "If the Conservatives are Catching Hell with the Boys they are sore about it.
