in Barkervill that you may happen to think of.

Killiam is here but in another Batt. also he is in the Band so we do not see much of him. He is still very full of dog talk but that is only because he thinks a lot of him. He (Killiam) looks fine The weather there is fine, one days rain so far, The rest good bright sun but a nice breeze. We often go on a route march in the afternoon for 5 to 8 miles & have a short lecture when the march out is done that makes a rest then we march back to camp in good spirits

We just lay around on the grass in front of the officer & he gives us a plain mans talk to men on various subjects such as why we salute an officer, on the rifle, on judging distance, on disclipuin, & the like. In this hall Y.M.C.A. there is a concert by local talent twice a week. I have not been able to take in one yet as I do not get the spare time. We have to get various small things for our own convenience & it means a trip to town. Last night I went up town for the first time in my uniform & got a wink from 5 different girls. It was the uniform they winked at as I had been up often in plane clothes & the devil a wink I got. So you may know the Kings uniform is popular in Victoria. Dont forget this is writen in a roaring noise. Please remember me to Mrs Tregillus who I trust is quite well

Yours Truly Ernest Seeley
