Hands Across the Sea
East Sandling, Kent July 31st
Dear Friends.
I think that my card informing you of my expected crossing of the water will have reached you long ago, so I think it is time that I was dropping another line or two to let you know that I arrived safely, and, in spite of numerous shifts & lots of work am still above board & prospects good for the future.
Have made lots of changes of camps, and at present am at my fifth, but here we expect to stay so long as the band is together
