CANADA BRAMSHOTT CAMP, LIPHOOK, Hants.

May 25th/16

Dear brother: Just a short note to ask how things are. I got you letter a few day ago for which I thank you. It is too bad the aviation training is'nt coming faster but there is lots of time. It is too bad about your friend being killed and be careful yourself.

We are Busy training here. Now that everybody has had their six days (1/2 batt. at a time) we are digging right in. We were inspected yesterday by Field Marshal Lord French. This is quite a honour seeing that our regiment was singled out for this.

Thanks for the snaps. I havent seen Mont yet to hear what he says about them but I think they are pretty good. Monte has just returned from leave. I would be pleased to get one of
