BRAMSHOTT CAMP, LIPHOOK, Hants.

Dear Bob. I just thought I would write a few lines to say hello now that I am back. I have just been north on six days leave and I believe me I was going some all the time. I saw pretty nearly every body I knew that was at home. Leave started Thursday at reveille but it was noon before we got the train and we were in London about 2 o'clock. We stayed there until 11.15 pm knocking around eating and taking in the sights (believe me we made up for the meals we lost since we left) Well we had an alnight trip in the train, and you know what that is, up to Inverness. As soon as we hit Scotland & until I left we were welcomed everywhere. Ladies were at all the stations with sandwiches and coffee, good stuff too. I was in Inverness
