My Dear Vernon

Your very welcome letter arrived to-day. I was certainly glad to hear from you as I have been wondering when you are going to come over. Bert is very to get such a long leave. I hope he dos'nt go home an fool around because it will just be a waste of time but if he gets a job in Manitoba harvesting he will have quite a little sum to come back with. You both want to save about £10 to go on leave with when you get over here because it costs a lot to get around in this country.
