CANADIAN MACHINE GUN DEPOT SEAFORD, SUSSEX.

Its a shame the way father has to work, and the troubles he has. I certainly wish I could get back to lend a hand. I know I could if I pushed it through to some big bug but I think it would like right and I hate to be classed among a bunch of conscripts.Perhaps if my cough comes back this winter they will invalid me back.

Herbert must be some boy now. Is he still driving the Col's car. I bet he has a girl in every street. It's lucky that Bert and Vernon did not come over here for the winter they would freeze to death
