Y.M.C.A. On Active Service WITH THE BRITISH EXPEDITIONARY FORCE 2nd Sept 5th C.D.A.C. B.E.F. France

I am sleeping in an old cloth mill and I have quite a good bed which I made out of a bunch of sacks I found so I am not too badly at present and if it wasn't for the mud around here we would be quite comfortable.

I expect Vernon will be over this week and I will try to get him with me again. My address will be [illegible] . I suppose it will be quite
