CANADA QUO FAS ET GLORIA DUCUNT

Sunday March 24/17

My Dear Mother.

We got Myra's parcel of candy yesterday and you don't know how good it tastes in this country where you can't get any candy.

Vernon turned his ankle again the other day so will be layed up for a couple of more days with it.

Last Friday Field Marshel French was up to inspect us so we were quite busy getting ready for him and after all our work he didn't even look at us.

It is a real summer day out and it has been fine all week but I guess we will soon be getting the spring rains.

BC Archives, MS-0249 Box 1 File 15 / ELLISON FAMILY. Vernon. / Mrs. Price Ellison, correspondence inward from her son Albert J. Ellison, 1915, 1918.
