CANADA QUO FAS ET GLORIA DUCUNT Canadian Field Artillery C.E.F.

well likes it very much. We got a letter from Lil Cambell asking us to visit them but I don't know if we can get long enough leave, but we are going to try about the middle of the month.

They are drilling us quite hard and we start firing the guns next week, we will have some fun with the horses then.

Vernon and I are both quite well and are getting burnt black as nigers. It is time for me to go on duty now so good-bye with love to all Bert
