Hastings Park Vancouver Oct. 15/17.

My Dear Mother:

I hope you have not been looking for a letter every day since we left. My letters may not come on the same day every week but they will come just the same.

Doubtless to say we arrived safely Thursday morning and found them all well at the Rectory. Ellie remembered us all of course.

Bert was very much disgusted at having to eat a dry lunch, but managed to get away with the tarts and a couple of
