CANADA CANADIAN MACHINE GUN DEPOT

Dearest Mother & Father The familys' xmas letter arrived yesterday a little late but all the more welcome-

I thank you all for the great endeavor especially Myra. Our xmas was almost the same as any other day except for the big dinner which was very good. Soup Turkey & Sausage Mashed potatoes Cabbage & Plum Pudding. 10 % of the boys were granted six days leave for xmas & 10 % are on New Years leave Now the boys that had relations in this country were given the prefference and of course there are so many that us fellows did'nt get
