It is raining to beat the band and as you see the shack leaks. You people are worrying about me because I am not going back to France but there is no cause to whatever. because I am perfectly alright. My feet are better and so is my cough and there is not much of a chance to get wet or go on route marches so there is no reason on earth that you should worry as I have told you before they wont send any old men from this depot until all the new fellows have gone and there are all kinds of them left yet. so I may have a good chance to put the
