My Dear Brothers

I received Vernons letter a few days ago & was very glad to hear from you and to know how you were getting on. Harry had a letter from Bert today. he lives just across the way so we see quite a bit of each other He is trying to get into the Mounted Machine Gun Coy with me but it is rather hard to make the grade unless you have been to France and know the work. I had a letter from Elizabeth and every thing seems to be OK at home Mothers letters must have
