Blighty -

France is just the same as it was before this is a new sector to me but it is just about the same all over The boys were all very surprised to see me back again Most of them thought I was in Canada by now -

Did any of the returned 2nd fellows call on you yet. I asked a couple to stay over in Vernon on their way home. I guess they were in such a hurry that wild horses would not have stopped them -

It's kind of hard to pass the day away here our billet is a room about ten by ten and there are seven of us in it -
