the doctor inoculated us for it right in the middle of our backs so you may imagine that it is'nt very comfortable to be banged into today. I'm getting kind of used to them by now -

The only mail I have had is a Nov Vernon News. No Dec mail has come yet and none of the parcels arrived. I must be out of luck as far as parcels are concerned but still there is always hope.

I hav'nt heard from the boys since I left but I expect they have had leave by now and are quite well -

I saw Tom Carew the other night he could not work to stay in
