or to take my washing. They work us hard and every thing has to be polished and [illegible] . They have so many petty things that a fellow has to do that it makes one sick of the whole business. I hav'nt had a letter for quite a while now but expect one in the next mail. I has been awfully hot here for the last week or so. It makes me long to be home again and for a swim in Long Lake. I wrote to Vernon & Bert asking them to bring me over some stuff when they come. Harry had a letter from Bert but he did not mention when they expected to come over
