Dearest Mother

Here I am again still on this little old island far away from harm and feeling quite happy about it too. I only wish I was home though.

It has been trying to snow for the last few days but it could not if it tried for a year. I am alright I bought a dandy chamois vest with sleeves in it in London and it is the best thing I have had for a long time.

No mail has come yet but it won't be long now, I haven't heard a word
