foot about a month ago and I heard he was going home, he is lucky. The first chance I get to see the paymaster I will send Vernon a little cash for we only get a franc a day out here. That is about 20¢ so we haven't got much of a chance to waist any have we. I will write again soon, hoping that you are all well. Tell Bert and Herbie I want a letter
