Dear Mrs Ellison.

I received Your welcome letter yesterday, and of course I showed it to Price, we allways share our letters. I am glad to be able to tell You He is first rate now. He as got as good a job as he could whish for. He is major Farant's groom Mr. Farant used to be a veterinary surgeon in Vernon. I'm sure You and Mr. Ellison will know him. One good thing, Mrs Ellison, is that Price will not have to go back to France. He is feeling fine now, his feet never bother him, only when he gets standing in water for any length of time, which he won't have to do any more. All he as got to do is groom two horses
