My dear Doodie. How are you? I am now hard at work & have quite settled down again. I often think of the wonderful evening we had on May 2nd especially when you said "all right be quick, & get it over" Ah! [illegible] I suppose you would still say it, if I turned up suddenly again - I wonder - yes I think you would. I am under A.D.C. 15th general force Division. I like my new job very very much. How I would just love to dance with you tonight, instead of going to my blankets now, in a drill dugout. What a wonderful life it all is. I hope these few lines find you well & happy.
