My dearest delectable Dodie.

So pleased to have your more than sweet letter and to gather up again the Vancouver doings - about the happiest time I ever spent. You may tell Nell [illegible] that Sandy Solomon's marriage exists only in his own imagination, and that his family is even more mythical. He was over here for (10) ten days racing to see the Grand National Hurdle & Steeple - and in great form - just up to "Little Ruth". He is a lad. Harry Whiting is some 2000 miles away in Q'land -
