At sea. Sunday 12.5.18 9am R.M.S. Makura

Dear Dodie.

Just a week today since we had our last glimpse of you. It seems much longer. The reason is I suppose you are missed so much. All the boys are well and in great spirits, and one day, they decorated my cabin with a Vancouver flag, saying Dodie had sent it by wireless "lest I should forget"! Not much chance of that dear, is there? Tomorrow we should be at Honolulu by this time, and will post from there. I hope my wireless reached you O.K. The boys naturally were very funny
