the verandah of my cottage where I am with three Montreal friends - and I want to finish before the sun leaves me. I cannot make clear how delightful it was to read your sacy and charming letter. That limerick of yours was "right up to date" to use an Americanism. Do you make or coin these wonderful phrases of yours. I envy you and can only feebly imitate. Do write me again and it will reach me say at the Ritz Carlton Montreal. I should so wish either that the fates would bring you East or something else or that I may go West. Can I help in the former in any way? Let me know. I should so like to. Many thanks for your kind good wishes and nice things you say and with all the happy messages possible. My [illegible] yours [illegible]

I have not got your home address here so sent it to the Bank.
