is the better in the way of means anyway the Vancouver or the Florida one. I must go out and see and will reserve my judgment until then or you will have to come here and settle the question. And so Mrs S is at the hotel and there will be a difference from the jolly dinners of a year ago - Isball never forgot them. I came very near going to the Coast on business this winter but the matter was settled and I did not have to so I missed seeing you. I should love to see those theatricals and in my holidays this year had some jolly evenings in New York at the Palais, and other pretty things. I did not think the music was as good as usual tho the grand opera was the best in years and was wonderful. When is this Western maiden coming down or across or over whatever it is to the effete East? When she does I hope she will give me the opportunity of being her guide and mentor for a little in say New York. I found some quaint and interesting places there in February and would be glad to lead the way to anywhere you would wish to go. I am writing you on
