give mother a lot of anxiety on that account! I read and more than enjoyed "Sonia" before Xmas. I am going to fetch "Christine" from the Library on Dodies' recommendation tomorrow. Have you read "Memories Discreet and Indiscreet" by A Woman of no importance. Quite good. Mother loved it.

[illegible] is very troubled.- as Rupert has had a bad cough for so long & will keep getting up & going out. Now he seems really ill & very down & depressed - so unlike him. She also has Brian down with chicken pox & fears the other "Cats" will follow suit. They seem to pick up something every spring. How did you find Grace & [illegible] and do you ever see Mrs. Rankin.

Cy's fiancee is probably coming up for Easer if she can have the moon? We are also losing our maid about then - she has lived with us for six years - through all Mother's operation & bad illness last year.
