I bade you all goodbye and you may depend upon it I am eagerly looking forward to the day of my return. How nice it will be to see you all again and have a real feminine party. I doubt If I will know how to act at all. I suppose you are saying to yourself "I never did anyway".

How are you and Mrs Briggs hitting it off these days? I have only received two letters from her so far the last being written from Victoria.

Elina's, it appears to me, is still "strong favourite". It will be a year next month since I left the
