the Macs, what a nasty mess and where does your Clarence come off in all this? I hear Rossie has got 3 months extension lucky devil, I wish I was with him. There is really little news for me to give you. Jim Fell is in England but not very fit. He is now at Crowborough. Francis was back for 2 weeks but is now in France and was in good [illegible] when over here. Wee John Jakes has got 6 months sick leave to go
