England joining the Artilly. Rossie is in great form & has more or less recovered from his strenuous time in London. From all accounts the married Ladies are doing well, but you cannot blame the 29th now, can you, more their misfortune than their fault?! I quite agree with you about Mrs Plunkett[?] it would do her worlds of good. Im glad Carie is in in good care & wish to heaven I could get back for a few months. Lord[?] for Frilps[?] & Jarthey, I am sure it will be good for her too! I am getting very fed up with life out here, no disipation or distractions (they are all kept away back) & at times very unhealthy. I hope Ruth is going strong, my love to you both. Good luck.

Yours ever

J. J. David[?]
