Would it make you very angry if I asked you to let me have a photograph of yourself; it is over two years since I have seen you and I should very much like to see your cheery face again. Do write again, if you have time, it bucks one up in an extraordinary way to have letters from friends so far away.
Please remember me to Mrs. Hopcraft.
I am enclosing a photograph of my boat, taken at Barrow with myself on the bridge; it was taken just as we had come up after submerging.
