Dearest Dody,

It's just a month since I wrote you my last letter, & here goes for the next monthly allowance. Your last card posted Feb 22nd reached me 24th March, so a letter takes just about a month to reach. You say you are staying with some girls & having a good time, well I am very pleased to hear it & hope you are still continuing to enjoy yourself. Mother is now staying with my eldest sister Mary who lives at Langley, Bucks, her husband the doctor is in France, so she is of course very pleased to have her there, as their house is very large, & she would be lonely
