Our men are A.I. & later everything as a matter of course.
We are living remarkably well. Just now we are in billets in a very comfortable small town. Our mess (Mr Lonford) is the only batchelor one in the regiment & we do ourselves pretty well.
Tim Fell & Johnnie Issac both dined with us last night. Jim just over & looking well.
Don't believe Mr James that the 2nd contingent are going to redeem the "lost honour of Canada" lost by the first. They will get the glory no doubt but we will do the fighting. The Imperial people out here are very pleased with all we have done so far.
