1918 Dec. With bands + colours. Inhabit not showing much emotions but widening desire to comply with orders. Found a grave & stone in a chgd to a Dr Savage DW who died in 1750 here. Coat of arms of Savage family on the Stone.

5. V. mild - Made one of a party of 8 boar hunters & went to neighbourhd of Samuchan, 20 heaters. I got a snap shot at a boar in the bush & anor at a fox - missed - Major HW Hall killed an enormous boar. Lovely scenery among the hills & strams of a Highland character - Quite clear for the first time. Shootg mostly in rides through scrub [illegible] with heather. Saw some black [illegible]

7. Div HQ moved to Muuster Eiffel in the Eiffel Mts. An ancient walled town - Curious ch. with ancient stained glass & beautiful - Several old shrines & relics, some dating from 1100 A.D. Kaiser Wilhem II visited [illegible] the Ch. Emp of Austria gave hanging lamps. Town interested in a cup of the hills with a small river running thro - Old walls still exist & an old Univsty . Schloss of the 'centy dominates the town. Fairly good shops - People Referential & accommodating, Much deer & boar in neighbourhood.

8. Very mild. DivHQ moved to Rheinbach a northern clean looking town. inhabitants looked
