Shopped & dined - Got some small presents for Nell & Kids

Oct 10 Tues After drill got some pay & went to ordnance with young Parry of So. Wales Bordrs at Etaples. Gave him good dinner at Club & after working br home in country gig. Beautiful day.

Oct 11 - Dull. Lecture on revolver by Major Tait.

Oct 12 Thurs - Parades & lecture on German& French machine guns. Sanchard, Mansen, Maxim, Colt & Hotchkiss

Oct 13 Fri Demonstration of Stokes Gun. Good lecture on S.G. - 1st class lecture by Major Tait on Lewis Gun. Administrate & duties of LG offr - Revolver practice. Orders to move to 2 Div [illegible] (JL Gray of 2 CMR) at 5 pm & took party of 24 to Etaples. 7 of us dined at Club. Slept in Rest Camp at Etaples
