Delayed about 6 hours. East of Keefers by break down of engine having overhauled Train 1 at Keefers. Day fine.

Thurs 25 May Passed through Rockies. Reached Calgary at 12.10 when had short march escorted by troop of RNWMP & band. Rained later. At Medicine Hat had a short march at about 5pm in rain & mud. Snowed later.

Friday 26 May Arr. Brandon Man. at 12.40. Short march thro town. v. friendly + streets clean.

Winnipeg 5.15 pm. March thro town. Major Cooper GSO Sewell Camp reported that Inspr Genl Hughes very pleased with left half. Pulled out 6.15. Great times at Kenora at 11pm. Rt ½ just in front.
