My dear brother:

Jno. Greig has written me a very nice letter. He, the like the rest is not at all anxious to go back to the front line before he has to but also like the rest he does not wish to get out until he has done his job. I have a letter from Brian who says he is under orders to go back to Victoria. I enclose an American poem which seems to be made of the right material. I enjoy your sketches your letters & your parcels very much. I send you two postcards, which I happen to have of Ince & the place opposite. One of these days I hope to get someone who knows how to make a watercolour sketch of the gates of Ince taken from the inside. The trees arranged themselves delightfully. I am also trying to get a wonderful old shawl from Mrs. Bray who with her family have

Young Chadwick's letter was very interesting. He writes like a good sort. I hope I may meet him.
