There are five squadrons here, each occupying three hangars of the aerodrome. As the hangars are huge things with about 80 feet between them you may comprehend the fact that they extend almost a mile. The aerodrome itself occupies about 1000 acres as far as I can judge for myself. Besides the hangars there are numerous engine repair shops, aeroplane repair shops, offices and store sheds, so there is a tremendous establishment here. (Please keep all this confidential)
