four Huns in flames and two out of control. The story he tells is of course all nonsense and he is being tried for "scandalous conduct and making statements which he knew to be false".
I have recieved no notification of embarkation yet, but surely it can't be long now. I'm getting horribly fed up with this waiting. Of course I still get my "quid" a day so its only costing the Gov't. more to keep me here. Am keeping pretty fit and very quiet. If one moves in London one has to spend money - its awful. Talk about England being a cheap place to live in! My impression is that it is a rich man's country.
I met Kenneth Macdonald here at noon and am going over to the Savoy to see him now, he was in a hurry to keep an appointment when I saw him.
