Dear Mother: -
Just a few lines to let you know I'm still in the land of the living. Have heard nothing from you for some time. I suppose your letters are going to the squadron and are on the way back here again.
I've been on the sick list for the last three days. Got a touch of ptomaine poison somehow and it broke out in
