I know you will make him welcome.

It appears that on the morning he was captured he volunteered for a patrol and while making sure of a Hun he had got, "Archie" put his engine out of business and he was forced to land in a field of shell holes just behind our lines. However, he was unhurt and proceeded back to the aerodrome, arriving in time to find the regular evening patrol going up without him. He immediately went to his Flight Commander and wanted to know why they were
