XXII Drawing "Washing clothes on a survey" May 2nd We have along walk to go to work today and have some difficulty in finding where we left off, but we [?] one the ground keeping in getting distance of each other in the dense undergrowth and at 11.30 come on the place when we halt for lunch then proceed down a [?] into a valley with a no of little lakes in it. and as one or two are frozen solid we call the valley "Frozen lake valley". Quite a no of bears seem to be at work here: but don't see any actually at work. A few hunters come up here trapping in summer
