Sept. 29, 1811 Jane Forster, daughter of Richard Forster + Elizabeth Donaldson (Townland) Tiernahinch. Walk to Newtownbutler with Willy, Train to Enniskillen - walk along Lough Erne, return to Lisballan + Maguires Bridge + Train home. Beautiful country around eniiskillen - Large estates with heavy timber

28 Tuesday (880278)

Leave 10:40 - Afternoon in Dublin at National Museum. Rosslare service cancelled on account submarines - Leav for Holyhead 9 pm - Berth accomodation only a mattress on boat - Dublin a very fine town. Dirty little boy carries my valise to North Wall for a few coppers - trots alongside me all the way.

29 Wednesday (89-277)

Holyhead 2 am - Crewe at daybreak - Train very slow, owing to all wires down by blizzard + snowstorm of previous days. Share compartment with naval commander + captain wounded at Gallipoli Change at Shrewsbury + Cardiff - At Carmarthen meet Sapper Clark from St. Anns + give him something to eat Stop over night at Bush Hotel, P. D. - Buxom combined chambermaid, porter + waitress.
