If there is any concrete it was not seen. The fire did not succeed in removing the steel plate. It is thought that whatever may be the internal construction (concrete or otherwise) there is a great quantity of earth + sandbags, which will have to be blown away before the inner shell is reached. German working parties were busy yesterday afternoon repairing damage done on this work.
