TO THE MEN OF COMPANY B 30th BATTALION CANADIAN EXPEDITIONARY FORCE
O some there are who go to war By way of printers' ink And some men who will wonders do When to the neck in drink. They greatly dare in an armchair The strife of flood and field, With pen in hand they stoutly stand, In rhyme they never yield.
But here's to those who meet our foes With bullet and with steel, Who make recoil from Belgium's soil The Kaiser's cloven heel. And be that day not far away When you return again By the grand And, victors, hear Prince Rupert cheer old flag Prince Rupert's fighting men. above you
We're proud
Here's to the lads who dare and do, of you and Here's to the men who see it through, love you Here's, Prince Rupert's soldiers true, Luck and health and strength to you.
